Indiana ratified the 19th Amendment on this day in 1920.
After courts overruled Washington territory's 1883 women's suffrage law, Washington gave women the right to vote again on this day in 1888. Unfortunately, it was also overruled by the courts shortly thereafter.
Wyoming ratified the 19th Amendment on this day in 1920.
Charles Lenox Remond was born on this day in 1810.

Elizabeth Blackwell was born on this day in 1821.
